We hired an 8 berth boat for a day to potter up to Adlington from Macclesfield. The chap explained the boat controls, and canal rules, and took us out for a little practice before getting under way. The boat was in good condition, had a toilet on board, and a nice large space for everyone to sit at the front. All in all, a really nice day, recommended.
